Jacob Cupp

Jacob Cupp- Head Coach

Coach Cupp is a highly accomplished coach with an impressive background. He graduated from Elk City High School in 2007 and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. His coaching career began in 2007 when he accepted his first Assistant Football Coaching job for the Red Tornados in Clinton, Oklahoma. Coach Cupp then returned to his hometown in 2012 to coach for a year as the Assistant Football Coach in Elk City. He later went back to Clinton where he served as the Assistant Football Coach until 2015. From 2016-2017, he assisted in football at Purcell before becoming the Head football coach at Atoka High School in 2018.

Cooper Collins

Cooper Collins- Assistant Coach

Cooper Collins is a distinguished alumnus of Atoka High School who is currently pursuing his degree at Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. He has been diligently serving as a coach for the football and track teams for the past two years and is concurrently employed in the APS maintenance department.

Jeff Waller- Assistant Coach

Coach Waller has an impressive background. He graduated from Atoka Public School in 1990 and went on to work for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 6 years. After that, he worked for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections for 21 years. Upon retirement from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, he was hired by the Atoka Public Schools in 2019 and began assisting with the football team in 2020.

Chris Wingo

Chris Wingo- Assistant Coach

Coach Wingo boasts an impressive and diverse teaching career that spans over a decade. He began his teaching journey in January 2008, where he taught 5th-grade Science and History before transferring to McCall Middle School in August of 2011. During his tenure at McCall, Coach Wingo took on additional responsibilities as a coach for Middle School football and soccer. In August of 2017, Coach Wingo advanced to the High School as a Biology and World Geography instructor and currently teaches World Geography, US Government, and Community Emergency Response Training. With over twelve years of experience, Coach Wingo has had the privilege of educating and developing the minds of over 1000 young men and women while coaching football and soccer. It is also worth noting that he has had the privilege of teaching and coaching all three of his sons.
