The Pioneer Club President, Mrs. Kathy Moore welcomed the ladies with 3 words of wisdom, FAIL, which stood for First Attempt In Learning, END- Effort Never Dies, and NO- New Opportunities. We enjoyed the guest speaker Susie McEntire-Eaton. She encouraged the girls to not let life's defeats get you down but how to take advantage of each situation and learn from them. Attention 4th grade parents. Your student will be returning to AES at approximately 4:00pm. Please be at the school at that time to pick up your child.
If you have students off campus today, know that we are in close contact with their teachers and coaches to avoid storms and travel safely. This may affect their return times. We will notify you as their return times are updated.
Due to the weather, our 4th graders will be late for dismissal. They have stopped in Tulsa at a school that has a safe room until the storm passes. Fourth-grade parents will need to pick up their students from school. ETA is unknown. We will post an update when the students are 20 minutes away from the school.
Due to the chance of severe weather, the after-school program is cancelled for today.
Your child will be coming home their regularly scheduled way unless you contact the office. The safety of our students and staff is our number one priority. Thank you for your understanding!
On Wednesday, March 14th a group of seniors took a trip to KTEN Studios and was given a tour from News director Brandon Agans to get a little behind the scenes. Seniors learned the amazing amount of work put into making sure people get to watch the news. They had the opportunity to sit through their midday show and experience the news in person from either the control room or the news studio! Thank you KTEN.
