McCall Middle School receives a $1,574.09 Classroom Enhancement Grant from Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation 

Atoka, OK – McCall Middle School is pleased to announce it has received a $1,574.09 Classroom Enhancement grant from the Carolyn Watson Rural  Oklahoma Community Foundation administered by the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. The grant will be used to support McCall Middle School’s Media Class which will allow McCall Middle School to provide educational opportunities that expand its students’ horizons.  

“We are so pleased to have received this grant and appreciate the support of the Carolyn Watson Rural Oklahoma Community Foundation,” says Mrs.Christie Miller the school’s Science/Media teacher. 

Media Class is a new elective this year at McCall Middle School and is taught by Mrs. Miller in conjunction with Mr. Welch who is Atoka High School’s Media Teacher.  Mrs. Miller applied for this grant in the hopes of setting up a podcast room on the McCall Middle School Campus.  The grant has allowed the school to purchase equipment to facilitate this endeavor.
