
Congratulations to the Atoka ShadowCats! Our varsity program participated in the OESL finals today where Henry McClour got 13th in smash and our Overwatch team went undefeated for regular season, playoffs, and state to be the champs. Another great day to be a Wampus Cat!




McCall Middle School had the opportunity to visit Split Window Studios in Denison, TX. Split Window hosts podcast recordings, audio studio recordings for artists like the Red Clay Strays, Turnpike Troubadours and others. The studio produced a Super Bowl commercial for Doritos which the students observed. They also host photography studio work and much more! Students were able to record a new episode for their podcast Talk from the Middle where they interviewed the owner Chris Romain to listen to his story of getting into his industry and starting a business. Stay tuned for the latest episode from Split Window Studios and Talk from the MIiddle! Huge shout out to Split Window and Chris Romain for the hospitality!

AHS is opening the Green House and selling plants on April 8th to the public from 1:00pm to 5:30pm and again on April 9th from 10:00am - 6:00pm.

Atoka High School is kicking off the celebration of National School Librarian Day a little early by honoring the amazing Ms. Moreland! Tomorrow may officially be her day, but today we’re shining the spotlight on her creativity, unwavering dedication, and the infectious love of reading she shares with everyone lucky enough to cross her path. Let’s all celebrate by diving into a good book this weekend in honor of the incredible Ms. Moreland! Happy reading!


On behalf of the ladies of the Atoka Senior Class of 2025, they would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Atoka Pioneer Club for hosting the annual Senior Tea. This event is a cherished tradition, and the senior girls are deeply grateful for the warmth and hospitality extended to them.
The efforts of the Atoka Pioneer Club in creating such a memorable experience will make a lasting impact on all of the senior ladies, and they truly appreciate the time and care dedicated to making this event so special.

The Atoka High School and McCall Middle School Video Media Class students took a career insight trip to KXII Studios in Sherman, TX on March 25, 2025. Students took a full tour of the broadcast facilities, talked with broadcast journalists, meteorologist, news directors, program directors, control room technicians and the station manager! They also saw the 12:00pm news cast live in person!
