
We want to welcome Redland Childers Architects, P.C. and MacHill Construction Company on board to handle our construction projects related to the recently passed bond. They are working up designs and we are hoping to see construction begin this fall.

The Class of 2024 Senior Boys participated in the Annual BBQ hosted by Ameristate Bank. Marci Bond welcomed the gentlemen and Clay Edwards entertained with singing while they ate. The guest speaker was Trent Smith, he played football at the University of Oklahoma and for the Baltimore Ravens as well as the San Franciso 49ers. He spoke about "time." Time goes by quickly and you are never guaranteed how much time you have. Spend it wisely and with people who you value and on things that are important to you. Thank you Ameristate Bank for the hospitality, entertainment, and hosting this year's Senior BBQ.

The Class of 2024 Senior Girls participated in the Annual Senior Tea hosted by the Pioneer Club today. The Pioneer Club President, Mrs. Kathy Moore welcomed the ladies with 3 words of wisdom, FAIL, which stood for First Attempt In Learning, END- Effort Never Dies, and NO- New Opportunities. We enjoyed the guest speaker Susie McEntire-Eaton. She encouraged the girls to not let life's defeats get you down but how to take advantage of each situation and learn from them. We also enjoyed tea sandwiches and cookies provided by the club. Thank you Atoka Pioneer Club for hosting this year's Senior Tea.


FCCLA competed in State Competitions this last week in Stillwater. We have 4 members compete, Libbie Bush and Zaylie Glover in Entrepreneurship, Aubree McDaniel in Career Investigation, Audrey McClour in Public Policy Advocate and Lillian Ryan in Meat Identification. Audrey and Aubree placed in the top 3. They will be recognized at State Convention later this month
